The Women's Federation of Shanxi organized an evening party to promote protection of children on June 10 in Taiyuan.
The party was divided into three parts to focus on children's safety, food safety and psychology, to explore the problems and solutions in Chinese children's protection.
The Shanxi Women's Federation launched an initiative to protect children in 2013. It also decided that every June will be a promotion month, during which large public activities will be organized to appeal to the public for children and children's legal rights. The initiative asked for joint efforts by parents, education and legal units to create a safe and healthy environment for children.
