Organic agriculture and ecological civilization were among the subjects discussed at the second Chehe International Forum of Organic Agriculture that kicked off in Linqiu county, Shanxi province on August 15.

Foreign and Chinese experts, scholars and entrepreneurs in the fields of organic agriculture, ecological civilization and organic agricultural products production and marketing attended the forum along with organic agriculture practitioners.
Founded in 2014, the International Forum of Organic Agriculture was designed to push organic agriculture in China. This year’s forum was jointly organized by the administration committee of Linqiu organic agriculture park, the Chinese Association of Young Scientists and Technologists and the Institute for New Rural Development of China Agricultural University.

One of the events of the two-day forum was to sum up the practical experience and achievements of Linqiu organic agriculture park, recognized as a valuable exploration in organic agriculture, especially for the areas with lagging ecological conditions.
