Shanxi province's delegation to the fourth session of the 12th National People's Congress held a plenary session deliberating on the government work report on March 6, which was open to 135 reporters from 63 media organizations from China and elsewhere.
Delegates answered questions from reporters after panel discussion. The questions covered a wide area, including the downturned economic situation, efforts and difficulties in the anti-corruption campaign, people's livelihoods, power control, supply-side structural reform, overcapacity, cultural and tourist development, and poverty alleviation.
Officials from the General Office of the State Council, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the Ministry of Finance attended the discussion to hear suggestions and proposals.
