A classical musical concert was held in Taiyuan, capital of North China's Shanxi province, to celebrate Qixi Festival, chinanews.com reported Aug 10.
The concert was based on one of China's great classic novels, A Dream in Red Mansions. The musicians played various traditional Chinese instruments including the "erhu", the Chinese "zither" and the better known pipa.
