Qiao's Grand Courtyard in Qiaojiabao village in Qi county, is an example of the traditional residential buildings of North China.
The dwelling house of a big business family surnamed Qiao in Shangxi province from the end of Qing Dynasty (1636-1911) to 1930s.
The compound became a hot tourist spot after the filming of a popular TV series named after it. The movie, "Raised the Red Lantern", by Chinese director Zhang Yimou, used this building as the film's setting.
