A training course for young farmers was held in Yuncheng, Shanxi province on Dec 3, aimed at improving their farming skills.
The seven-day training program focused on developing modern fruit industry with internet technology, covering the management of fruit production, quality control, marketing, e-commerce, and entrepreneurship consultation.
Hu Xiaolong, a specialist in fruit planting and manager of Shanxi Zhongnongle Agricultural Science and Technology Co, shared his expertise and analyzed the status quo and development trends in the industry.
More than 40 people across the province, including growers, undergraduate startups, and the mainstay of rural cooperatives, took part in the event.
The next course will be targeted at the vegetable sector.
