Two French orthopedic experts delivered academic lectures and gave free consultations in Shanxi on Feb 22.
The two experienced doctors, François Bruchou and Jean Marc Chaudruc, offered medical consultations and diagnoses free of charge to patients with orthopedic diseases at Shanxi Provincial People's Hospital. More than 40 people received treatment.
They also shared their knowledge of the latest developments in arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgery for shoulder and ankle problems by giving lectures to doctors in hospital's orthopedics department.

"Inviting foreign medical scholars and professionals to exchange experience and research achievements in the medical sciences helps our staff members master the latest international diagnosis methods and improve their skills," said Zhang Yuming, director of the hospital’s orthopedics department.
The two Europeans will continue their medical visit at other local hospitals during the next few days.
