Shanxi held its 17th adolescent robotics competition from April 21 to 23, which attracted 232 teams from 11 local cities.
Focusing on various topics like "my partners in learning" and "industrial age", the event held six contests in different categories for participants. There were 231 robotics computer programs that won awards, including nine in comprehensive robotics skills contests and 37 in VEX robotics engineering.

Some of the winners will be selected to take part in the 17th China Adolescent Robotics Competition which will be held in Guangdong province in July and related international robotics contests on behalf of Shanxi province.
The annual event has developed into the most influential competition among scientific contests for adolescents in Shanxi. It has helped facilitate the popularization of robotics in the province and stimulate teenagers’ interest in the field.
