The 18-meter-long wood carving of Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival, one of the most renowned ancient Chinese works of art, is on display in Taiyuan on Aug 10. The raw material for the work was a camphor tree measuring 2.56-meters high, 2.1-meters wide and weighing 12 tons. It took 35 artists and craftspeople five years to finish the carving. [Photo/Xinhua]
