Two large ancient tombs dating back to the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC) were discovered in Nanqin village, administered by Linfen city, Shanxi province, on Aug 29, according to an announcement made by the local archaeological authority.
A total of 200 cultural relics were unearthed including pottery, gold, copper, bones and jade.
According to archaeologists, the remains in the tombs may be a pair of aristocrats from the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC).
