The 2017 China Yuncheng Guan Gong International Tourism Festival opened on Sept 25, in Yuncheng city, North China's Shanxi province, and will run until Oct 10.
The festival is named after Guan Gong, a famous general who lived in the Three Kingdoms period (220-280), and was honored as a "military saint".
Artists from 15 countries including Poland, Brazil and Republic of Korea, joined Yuncheng local performers to present an exotic performance for visitors at the opening ceremony.
Various activities such as a wheaten food festival, a tourism commodities exhibition and a photography competition will be held during the festival.
