Shanxi province launched a promotional activity for traditional Chinese medicine in Taiyuan, the provincial capital, on Sept 30.
The activity, organized by the provincial authority and Taiyuan health and family planning commission, will run from September to December with an aim to drive the development of traditional Chinese medicine and improving public health services in the province.
The organizers will provide free medical consultations and hold themed lectures and performances to help residents better understand the efficacy of traditional medicinal treatment.
