More than 60 education-related people from Macao visited Shanxi University (SXU) on Sept 27, during which exchange activities were organized to allow Macao educators to gain more experience regarding Shanxi’s education system.
The Macao education delegation had officials from education administrations, headmasters from elementary and middle schools, representative teachers, and heads of education organizations.
Teachers and students from the College of Music of SXU performed an orchestral concert for the Macao educators, and pupils from the Elementary School Affiliated to Shanxi University welcomed the visitors with various performances including dancing, football and recitals.
Ma Weilan, headmaster of the Elementary School Affiliated to Shanxi University, introduced the principles in educating students, such as quality-oriented system and moral guidance.
Guo Xiaoli, head of the Macao education delegation and deputy director of the Macao Youth Education Administration, conveyed that mutual exchanges should be increased for improving education development from both sides.
