Online tickets for the first Pingyao International Film Festival have been available to the public since Oct 20, according to an announcement made by the organizers of the festival.
The first Pingyao International Film Festival will be held in the Ancient City of Pingyao, Shanxi province, from Oct 28 to Nov 4. Visitors have so far been able to buy tickets using WeChat, and will be able to buy tickets at the Pingyao Cinema Palace from Oct 28.
Some 40 films from across the world will be shown at the event, including The Square, winner of Golden Palm at the Cannes International Film Festival; Jeanette, the latest work by Bruno Dumont; and Last Flag Flying by Richard Linklater.
