Jinneng Clean Energy Technology (Jinergy), a photovoltaic module producer based in Shanxi, has recently exported 400 Passivated Emitter and Rear Cell (PERC) solar cells to Buenos Aires, marking the first time that photovoltaic products have been exported from Shanxi to Argentina.
The rooftop power station project in Buenos Aires requires a high level of cell conversion efficiency and anti-potential Induced Degradation. To satisfy the needs of the project, Jinergy specially developed 360W PERC modules.
As the top photovoltaic products producer in Shanxi, Jinergy also leads domestic photovoltaic cell and module industries through its development of high-efficiency polycrystalline, PERC monocrystalline and ultra high-efficiency heterojunction technologies.
Jinergy has also been expanding its international market and foreign partnerships. Since the company won bids for projects along the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor in 2015, Jinergy has exported high-efficiency products to countries such as India, Pakistan, Mexico, Brazil and Kazakhstan owing to being in the top 5 percent of global companies in terms of production capacity and innovation ability.
Next, Jinergy will further partnerships with countries along the Belt and Road in energy industrial upgrading, and bring top Chinese photovoltaic production technologies to more power stations overseas, according to Yang Liyou, general manager of the company.
