A new carbon black production line at Shanxi Anlun Chemical Co with annual output of 100,000 tons went into operation in Hejin county, Shanxi province, on June 8.
With the launch of this new production line, the company has become the world’s single largest carbon black production entity, boasting an annual output capacity of 350,000 tons.
Founded in March 2016, Anlun Chemical is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sunlight Coking Group and mainly produces high-quality carbon black for rubber. Its products have been exported to more than 10 countries including Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. In only two years, the company has risen to rank fourth among domestic carbon black industry bodies.
Construction of another pair of Anlun Chemical’s carbon black production lines was also completed recently. Once in use, the annual output of these two lines is expected to reach 500,000 tons.
