The 13th China (Shanxi) Wine and Food Industry Expo will be held at the Coal Museum of China in Taiyuan between Aug 31 and Sept 2.
Companies and businesspeople from some 20 provinces and cities, such as Shandong and Hebei provinces, Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin, will attend the expo sponsored by Shanxi Food Industry Association.
An exhibition of popular food brands among Shanxi consumers with more than 30 brands on show will be held during the expo. The expo will also include a Shanxi wines blind tasting competition, a business negotiation meeting for food producers, a forum on Chinese white spirits, and a lecture on different varieties of wine.
As an influential wine and food expo in North, Central and West China, the Shanxi Wine and Food Industry Expo has been held annually for 12 years.
