An art exhibition featuring classic Western pieces by the renowned Spanish artists Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dalí opened in the Ancient City of Pingyao on Aug 12.
As part of the Sculpture Projects Ping Yao (SPPY), an international sculpture festival held in Pingyao between July 20 and Aug 20, the exhibition displayed two ceramic works by Picasso and three bronze sculptures by Salvador Dalí.
Since its opening, the SPPY has attracted thousands of art enthusiasts who have visited the ancient city to see 100 unique sculptures by more than 80 artists from home and abroad.
