The Shanxi-Shaanxi-Henan hospital alliance for the Yellow River Delta region was set up in Yuncheng, Shanxi province, on Nov 17.
The alliance is made up of Yuncheng Central Hospital, Linfen People's Hospital, and Weinan Central Hospital in Shaanxi province. Other comprehensive hospitals from Yuncheng, Linfen and Weinan cities in Shanxi province, and Sanmenxia in Henan province, also joined the new alliance.
Taking advantage of the internet, big data and artificial intelligence, the alliance will focus on cooperating in the scientific management of modern hospitals, advance tiered medical services, improve medical training, and implement the joint prevention and control of major accidents and sudden infectious diseases, as well as work to improve the accessibility of services for local residents.
A two-day forum on hospital quality was held following the founding ceremony with experts and hospital directors discussing nursing, medical research and hospital management.
