Cao Huibin, the vice-mayor of Datong, in Shanxi province, visited the city’s Xinrong district, on Dec 11, to do a survey of projects under construction there. Datong daily reported Wednesday.

Cao’s visit covered the Datong Xincheng New Materials Co, Mingxing Window Science and Technology Co, Huajin Chinese Potato Co, Weishi Electromechanical Device Co, and Ancient Great Wall Forest Park, where he learned more about the the progress of the projects and the construction work.

At Datong Xincheng New Materials, company personnel described their work to Cao, who commented the solar and other renewable energy fields have a bright future, so the company has a lot of room for development. He went on to say that the district government needs to support this work, for the company’s growth.
