The 15th China International Photographic Art Exhibition, which runs April 23 to May 1, in the Heyang Art Gallery and Yiren Art Space in the city of Datong, Shanxi province, will draw photographers from 98 countries, with 346 works.

Sponsors of the exhibition are the China Photographers Association (CPA), Datong Party publicity department, Datong trade union federation, and Datong literary federation.

The China International Photography Exhibition was first arranged in 1981 as a biennial event, so it has been held 14 times and is the CPA's largest exhibition, with the longest history and largest number of photographers taking part.
