A construction site in the old town area of the city of Datong, Shanxi province, has been adorned with a number of public service announcements to add more taste to the normally dull, boring safety walls with advertisements, according to dtnews.cn, of Nov 26.

The construction work is meant to improve the ecology of the popular tourist site and to increase the public awareness of the area's culture, history, and environmental work. The project committee came up with this public campaign idea covering civic behavior and ethics and making better use of the boards, and has left many people in the city thinking that this gives a better image.
