Simulated international trade fair for students

Updated : 2015-04-27

University students in Shanxi province held a simulative international trade fair at the School of Business, Shanxi University, on April 18.

Twelve teams from universities in Taiyuan took part in a competition for selling their products during the trade fair to “foreign customers”, who were mainly acted by teachers. The participants promoted their commodities in various ways such as sand painting and folk dance.

The activity is expected to help cultivate skilled personnel in Shanxi’s international trade. The inland province is comparatively weak in foreign trade and exhibitions, said Li Xiusheng, Shanxi branch deputy head of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
