The Graduate School of Shanxi University organized a teaching competition from Nov 4 to 6. This competition was designed for the young teachers that started to work in the university three years ago, which asks the competitors to give a lesson presentation. It attracted 65 teachers from majors like philosophy, economics and literature to take part. They were divided into two groups: natural sciences and social sciences.

Most of the participants have good command of basic theories, academic trends and research methods; they are active in thinking with rich information and good expression. However, they were also expected to improve their courses’ qualities in terms of openness and research orientation.

The lesson presentation competition goes on in Shanxi University from Nov 4 to 6.
