A total of 105 students from more than 50 Chinese colleges also received recognition at the 2016 CCF awards ceremony. All the winners had been given funding by CCF to attend the event in Taiyuan for the 2016 China National Computer Congress (CNCC), and acquired the opportunity to appreciate the insightful and foremost thoughts of experts from both home and abroad.
Du Zide, secretary-general of CCF and CNCC’s host, commended the prize recipients on their achievements.
“Why did CCF set these awards and fully sponsor attendees to the CNCC? Investment targeting the young is investment for the future. May all of you become professionals in the field of computer science,” Du said.
