Concert held at Shanxi University

A concert was held in the Music Hall of Shanxi University celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Long March on Oct 21.
Various types of music, ranging from symphonic music to soprano solo were performed, providing a high-quality experience for the students and teachers in the audience.
The audience appeared immersed in the performances which used different musical instruments, including violins, cellos and trumpets. The performances showcased the best of Western and Chinese musical traditions.
The highlight of the concert came when a singer sang an opera about revolutionary heroes, in order to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Long March. The Long March was a military maneuver carried out by the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army of the CPC from 1934 to 1936.
