Staff from Guizhou University attended a meeting at Shanxi University on Nov 1, to learn how the university has managed its funds and to learn about the further education program the university offers.

Yin Jie, hosted the meeting and introduced the university’s systematic efforts to achieve a targeted and effective use of funds to its certain special projects. He emphasized the university’s sound management of its finances enabling it to push forward with a string of key programs, helping to contribute to the development of individuals and the country. Shanxi University, he then said, has been striving to transfer the focuses of its adult education from "aimed at degrees" to "a project for either diploma or life-long self-improvement" by facilitating the modern distance courses, and international cooperation. He finally expressed his hopes for both sides’ joint endeavors to expedite the country’s educational, economic and social advancement.
