Beijing Energy Investment Holding Co. Ltd (BEIH) sponsored a job fair in Shanxi University on Nov 9, with 37 subsidiary companies providing over 100 job opportunities.

BEIH is a large state-owned investing and financing enterprise that focuses on electric power construction, provides job opportunities covering a wide array of careers such as thermal power, automation, environmental engineering, chemistry, financial management and marketing.

The fair took place in the lobby of the main teaching building at Dadongguan campus, attracting a large number of students.

One of the companies, Beijing Oil and Gas Resource Development Co, offered preferential job opportunities for those students who came from Xinjiang Uyghur autonomous region, in accordance with a national policy for promoting western China’s development.

BEIH has held job fairs at Shanxi University for several successive years, providing a large number of jobs for the students, most of whom have garnered high recognition from within the company after being recruited.
