Shanxi will support entrepreneurship training institutions with subsidies worth more than 250,000 yuan ($36,398).

Trainees at designated institutions who pass exams will receive 150 yuan or 500 yuan per person. Eight local universities and colleges are to be subsidized, including Shanxi University and Shanxi Youth Vocational College. Students from vocational institutes and special education schools will be included in the list as well.

The training is divided into two parts –– entrepreneurship training and investigation. Experts, start-up mentors and companies offer their experience and expertise in financing, marketing, supporting policies and legal affairs. Undergraduates also visit and investigate successful startup companies during the training.

There have been 1,172 people having passed the entrepreneurship training and 168 people undergoing training in starting a business during the first three quarters of 2016, according to Shanxi Department of Human Resources and Social Security.
