Tibetan students celebrate Tibetan New Year in Shanxi

Tibetan students of the Affiliated High School of Shanxi University make gudu, a traditional snack popular among the Tibetan ethnic group, on Feb 25, two days before Tibetan New Year, in Taiyuan. Tibetan students of the Affiliated High School of Shanxi University play with students of the Han ethnic group on Feb 25 in Taiyuan to celebrate the upcoming Tibetan New Year. The high school has offered classes to Tibetan students for 32 years, teaching some 3,000 students. There are now more than 300 Tibetan students currently studying in the school. [Photo/sxrb.com] |
