Shanxi University's relay team won second place among universities competing in the North West division of the 2017 New Balance National Collegiate Relay Race on April 22.

Led by officials and teachers from the School of Physical Education, the team consisted of 10 students from the six majors taught at the university, including philosophy, physical education and mathematics.

The northwest China division final of the relay race held at Shaanxi province’s Xi’an Jiaotong University gathered top runners from 12 universities, including China University of Geosciences and Wuhan University.
