Guo Yiheng from the School of Physical Education of Shanxi University (SXU) won fourth place during the men’s cycling and running biathlon, part of a new triathlon series, at the 13th National Games of China, in Qinhuangdao, Hebei province on Aug 16.

The competition included a 10km cycling race on exercise bikes as well as a 3km run.

Guo ranked fourth in the 10km cycling and third in the 3km race, with a time of 24 min and 49.32 sec. The championship was won by Wang Ruoyu from Shandong province with a time of 24 min and 2.73 sec.
