Shanxi University held an exchange meeting on major national projects such as the Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), at Shanxi University, on Oct 30.

More than 120 teachers in the fields of science and technology attended the meeting.

The deputy-president, Cheng Fangqin, also attended the meeting and delivered a speech encouraging teachers to get involved in national projects.

Professor Zong Baoning from Sinopec Research Institute of Petroleum Processing; Professor Wang Baojun from Taiyuan University of Technology; and Professor Chou Xiujian from North University of China, were invited to the meeting to share their experience on how to explore scientific problems and apply for national projects.

Finally, the participants were split into different groups based on their research interests and took part in separate discussions.
