Wang Zhijun, vice-dean of the Academy of Fine Arts at Shanxi University, attended the opening ceremony of the National Association of College Art Education, held at Tsinghua University, on Nov 4.

Initiated by the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University, the National Association of College Art Education was established with the support of a further eight universities, including Peking University and Sichuan University. The aim of the association is to promote the development of college art education. Representatives from nearly 100 universities attended the ceremony.

Wang was recommended to be one of the members of the first council at the opening ceremony.
