SXU students recognized at computing competition

Students from Shanxi University won first prize at a collegiate computing competition jointly held by the education departments in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei province, Shanxi province and Inner Mongolia autonomous region, at Beijing Union University, on Nov 11.
After a period of preliminary contests, a total of 96 teams made it to the finals. Three teams from Shanxi University were among the finalists.
Two of the three teams won first prize and the other team clinched the second prize. Two teachers named Lyu Guoying and Gao Jiawei won an award for their excellent instructions. Shanxi University was also recognized as an excellent organizer of the competition.
