Shanxi University held a meeting, marking the start of a national research project on quantum simulation, from Nov 3 to 5.

The president of Shanxi University Jia Suotang and Vice-President Zhang Tiancai, nine professors from universities and institutions such as Peking University, Shanxi University, Tsinghua University and National Natural Science Foundation as well as local officials in scientific and technical department attended the meeting.

Jia extended gratitude to all research team members and professors present for their dedication to the research, and vowed that Shanxi University will provide any necessary support for the research.

Professor Xiao Liantuan, leader of the project, from Shanxi University, introduced the project to all professors at present, and listened to their suggestions.
