School of Physical Education wins silver at SCBA

Basketball team from the School of Physical Education of Shanxi University won second place at the comprehensive college group of the Sports College Basketball Association (SCBA) in Ningbo, Zhejiang province on June 12.
The squad was defeated by home team from Ningbo University with 66:75, and Chongqing Normal University took third.
Four qualifiers at Ningbo division including Ningbo University, Shanxi University, Chongqing Normal University and Jimei University will enter the finals held in Jinan of Shandong province to compete with professional sports colleges.
The competition is sponsored by the State Sports General Administration, the China Basketball Association, and the National Sports Competition Federation, which has been ambitioned to become China’s version of NCAA.
