Conference on biology, physics and chemistry held at SXU

The Fifth National Conference on Biology, Physics and Chemistry was held at Shanxi University (SXU) from July 22 to 25.
The conference was sponsored by Chinese Chemical Society and organized by the Institute of Molecular Science, Institute of Laser Spectroscopy and Institute of Biotechnology of Shanxi University.
Li Qingshan, vice-chairman of the Shanxi Provincial Committee of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference; Li Sidian, vice-secretary of the Party Committee of Shanxi University; and Zhang Tiancai, vice-president of Shanxi University attended the meeting.
Nearly 300 experts and scholars from home and abroad attended the meeting to exchange thoughts on the latest research achievements and discussed the future development of biology, physics and chemistry.
The success this conference will promote the intersection and integration of the disciplines at Shanxi University, improve the teaching and research level of science subjects in Shanxi province, and further drive the development of academic and scientific study in China, especially in the Midwest areas.
