Li Sidian conducts scientific and academic exchanges in Germany

Li Sidian, vice-secretary of Shanxi University Party Committee, was invited to conduct scientific and academic exchanges at universities and institutes in Germany from July 4 to 16.

Wei Xuehong, director from the Scientific Instrument Center, and Mu Yuewen, associate professor from the Institute of Molecular Science, also took part in the visit.

Li met with Matthias Beller and Habil Haijun Jiao, vice-president and director of Leibniz Institute for Catalysis respectively.

Li delivered a report titled Boron Double Chains and Fluxional Bonds in Chemistry: From Planar Borophenes, Cage-Like Borospherenes, Boron Nanotubes, to Metal-Doped Hetroboronanostructures, and put forward the concept of Fluxional Bonds in Chemistry and Double-Chain Chemistry of Boron.
