SXU wins national college advertising competition

Team from School of Journalism of Shanxi University (SXU) won first prize of the best planning and designing case at the 10th National College Student Advising Competition in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province on Sept 15.
The competition that received the participation of 1,449 universities and colleges received 8,137 planning and designing cases from schools with 1,422 entering the national general evaluation. After two rounds, 245 cases won the excellence awards and 13 best works entered the finals including Shanxi University.
The contest of planning cases is considered to test contestants’ comprehensive ability in advertising projects. The SXU team was led by Han Zhiqiang and Wang Yu from the Advertising Department of School of Journalism, and five students including Guo Jingwei, Kou Jie and Yuan Ziyun gave performances on the stage during the finals.
