The International Workshop on the Meaning of the Wave Function was held at Shanxi University (SXU) from Oct 12 to 14.

More than 60 experts from some 30 universities and research institutes, including the University of Cambridge, Dartmouth College, Tel Aviv University, The University of Sydney and Tsinghua University attended the event.

The workshop focused on the ontology of quantum mechanics and reports were presented by 17 different experts attending the event. The participants discussed the basic problems which exist in quantum mechanics, shared the latest research developments and the future direction of quantum mechanical philosophy research.
