Shanxi University partners with Xiangfen county

A meeting was held between Shanxi University and the Xiangfen county government in Xiangfen county on May 26 to discuss a strategic partnership.
The two parties aimed to strengthen cooperation mainly in the commercialization of technological achievements.
Attendees listened to a briefing on Shanxi University's agricultural industrial park project in Xiangfen county.
The project, receiving a total of 190 million yuan ($27.53 million) in investment, has been carried out by the university’s Institute of Applied Chemistry and Shanxi Huayuan Biotechnology Co for over a year. The two parties have cooperated in straw biomass power generation, pre-digested liquid feed, and utilization of agricultural waste, helping advance the agricultural development of Xiangfen county.
