A postgraduate education innovation center was co-founded by Shanxi University's department of electric power engineering and the State Grid Shanxi Economy and Technology Institute on July 18.

As a technical support apparatus of Shanxi Electric Power Co, the State Grid Shanxi Economy and Technology Institute carries out research and applies key technology such as efficient storage systems and big data calculations and collects electric power big data resources in Shanxi.

The institute is an excellent partner that helps improve Shanxi University's power engineering disciplines, offering an effective platform for improving the abilities of postgraduates.

The two sides will use the newly established postgraduate education innovation center to cooperate on professional skills training, academic communication, research, power grid layouts, and consumption in new energy sectors, according to officials from Shanxi University and the State Grid Shanxi Economy and Technology Institute.
