Shanxi University held an award ceremony on China’s 35th Teachers’ Day on Sept 10 to recognize the university’s talented and hardworking teachers and staff.

Award categories included "Top Ten Virtuous Teachers", "Top Ten Young Teachers", "Outstanding Teachers" and “Outstanding Young Teachers”.

Honorary certificates were also awarded to 80 retired teachers at the ceremony.

University officials, including Fu Huiming, Party secretary of Shanxi University, and University president Huang Guitian, thanked the teachers for their hard work and unending efforts to shape a positive future for students.
