A delegation led by Hao Yongming, director of the State Password Administration of Shanxi Province, paid a visit to Shanxi University on Dec 3, according to SXU officials.

Party secretary Fu Huiming, on behalf of Shanxi University, extended a warm welcome to the delegates.

At a symposium, Hao Yongming briefly talked about the institutional settings of the State Password Administration of Shanxi Province and the development of its security work.

He pointed out that in recent years, the provincial security authority has continued to deepen the reform.

Hao added that it has continuously improved the efficiency and transparency of confidential administrative licensing, through the establishment of expert think thanks and the construction of public WeChat accounts.

SXU officials said the main purpose of the visit was to better understand the difficulties and problems in the confidentiality work of Shanxi University, as well as carry out targeted confidentiality guidance work to better serve the university.

Li Sidian, vice-principal of Shanxi University, gave a brief introduction on the basic situation of SXU’s confidentiality work and its problems.

The attendees had in-depth discussions and exchanges on how to solve the difficulties encountered by SXU in the certification of confidential qualifications.

After the meeting, the delegation paid a visit to SXU’s Institute of Laser Spectroscopy, Institute of Optoelectronics, and School of Physical and Electronic Engineering.
