A lecture on the Employment and Entrepreneurship of College Graduates was given at Shanxi University on Dec 5, according to SXU officials.

The lecture was given by Bai Xiuping, director of the Supervisory and Judicial Committee of the People's Congress of Shanxi Province.

Officials said it was keenly listened to by more than 300 students and teachers from SXU.

In his lecture, Bai gave an interpretation and analysis of the national employment policy and situation, as well as the numbers of and structure of college students in Shanxi.

He also outlined 11 aspects of employment and entrepreneurship: such as how to adapt to the employment situation, updating student employment goals and how to take advantage of preferential employment policies.

Officials said the lecture played an active role in guiding the employment and entrepreneurship of teachers and students, based on their accumulated practical experience.
