Int'l Buddhism Culture Expo in Mount Wutai

The scenario performance "Seeing Mount Wutai Again".

In order to promote the biological and leisure levels in Mount Wutai, and to better spread China's Buddhist culture to the world, a one-month long Buddhism tourism culture activity event has been held from June 26th to July 26th every year since 2009, with its intention being to showcase the unique charm of the Buddhist culture in Mount Wutai.

As part of the activities, the Mount Wutai International Buddhism Culture Expo greatly promotes the Buddhist culture by constructing a cultural platform with more extensive broadcasts and integration of Buddhism, tourism, ecology, green and low-carbon development. By speeding up the development of the tourism industry, the expo introduces new thinking and brings a new tone to the Buddhist culture, to enrich cultural tourism and enhance the quality of cultural tourism, as well as promote soft power in the cultural industries.
