Police ensure public security on Mount Wutai for Lantern Festival

To prepare for the tourist surge on Mount Wutai during the Lantern Festival, on March 5, the police bureau in the nearby city of Xinzhou, Shanxi province increased the number of officers available to make sure that travel to and from the mountain went smoothly and that order was maintained at all tourist sites.

The city's police had patrol dogs and all 400 policemen, firefighters and armed forces on the mountain increased patrols on the main roads and checked their emergency response, providing all visitors with a safe journey.
