Folk tourism booms in Spring Festival holiday

Many tourists spent the Spring Festival holiday in rural areas to experience local folk customs and enjoy a leisurely way of life in North China's Shanxi province. Villagers in the Dongpingtou village in Yuncheng city had their underground open-air loess cave dwellings decorated to develop local tourism with the support of local government, attracting a large number of visitors.
