Deputies to the 12th National People's Congress (NPC) from North China's Shanxi province arrived at Beijing on March 2, 2016.
Upon arrival at the hotel, deputies began to get down to business, making further improvements on their proposals.
"I will focus on education and science, and my proposals are still being improved," said Li Ruifeng, dean of the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Taiyuan University of Technology.
Yang Linhua, director of the Hematology Department of the 2nd Affiliated Hospital to Shanxi Medical University, said that she will make proposals on health care reform, including rare disease diagnosis and treatment and poverty alleviation.
Dong Lin, from Du'er Coal Mine of Shanxi Coking Coal Company's Xishan Coal Electricity Group Co have prepared several proposals regarding the coal industry and coal miners.
